Save Our Selphs is making steady progress toward launch! Our 501(c)(3) application has been submitted, our comprehensive programs are fully designed, and we're actively building community support. With leadership rooted in lived experience, we're uniquely positioned to create lasting transformation.
Save Our Selphs participated in the Juneteenth celebration at Mellon Park, connecting with community members and sharing our vision. These grassroots events are essential for building awareness and support for our mission.
We've participated in over 4 community vendor events throughout the Pittsburgh area, meeting supporters, answering questions, and building relationships. Every connection brings us closer to opening our doors.
Our two comprehensive programs—My Selph Empowerment Program and Younger Selph Family Support Program—are fully developed and ready for implementation as soon as we secure our facility.
Our primary focus is securing the facility and funding needed to launch operations. We're actively pursuing grants, partnerships, and donor support. Every contribution moves us closer to opening day.
